Great Authentic Mexican Food

This restaurant has great customer service, and really good mexican food. One of my favorite dishes to get is the combination w/ beef enchiladas, for the portion that they give you I can actually save half and eat it later on. The burgers are big too, my boyfriend is always getting a double meat and cheese and he is good for the rest of the day. They have friendly service too, so far I haven't had any problems with the waitstaff. They american food is really good too, I'd recommend getting the chicken fried steak, the steak is juicey with a light crust that isn't too thick.
Excellent Small Town Dining

This restaurant is right on highway 67 north, about 35 miles from San Angelo and 60 miles south of Abilene. The town itself has a population of only around 4,000 and is 3 square miles in size. The entire county of Runnels has maybe 13,000 people. For this restaurant to do this well requires good food and a relaxed, small-town atmosphere, and it does. What's good? Try the catfish, the Steak A la Mexicana, the Quesadillas Azteca, or a delicious huge burger. Of the maybe five restaurants in a 20-mile radius, this small city, Alejandra's is not only the best, but compares to some of the best Mexican restaurants in larger cities.
